I just saw a commercial for it on tv. If you sign up, you will get text messaged when there is an Amber Alert, which sounds a lot more useful than the messages on tv or radio. Now if you're standing on a street you can get a text and potentially help stop a kidnapping in progress.

It looks legit, sign up if you'd like, don't if you don't want to, I just wanted to pass it along. Maybe people have already heard of it, but it's the first time I have.
