RIP Dan Seals

#1 Post by NellyLunatic1980 » Thu Mar 26, 2009 7:15 am

He was one-half of England Dan and John Ford Coley and also the brother of Jim Seals of Seals and Crofts.

He passed yesterday at age 61 from lymphoma.

This is sad. I have several of their songs in my jukebox. In this day and age, 61 is too young to die.

I didn't realize that they were brothers. I wonder why they found other partners, they could have been Seals and Seals! But I'm glad they did, both duos made some really nice songs.

Sad.

I really liked the album "Dowdy Ferry Road". I'll have to find it and listen to it again.
