I knew I'd never keep up with Uly's gratuity.
But, as it turns out, I didn't have to be a more prodigious poster than Uly- just more prodigious than Macrae!

Yay, I moved! At this rate, I should reach the top 10 somewhere around the next millennium.

Woo hoo, I'm green and I didn't even have to post gratuitously
all day, every day.
I'll be in the top 20 by this time next year, maybe.

I'm blaming uly for my gratuitosity. We're playing Avatar Wars, which I know I'll lose but I'm playing anyway...

I actually had to go back and verify you and uly's totals for last week since they were so friggin' high.... especially since I did the rankings a day early.....
And you with all the MM's...... I don't know how you still rolled off such a high count under just plain mini.....

Let's just say I needed an outlet. I think I could work as a Crisis Counselor and end the day happier sometimes.littlebeast13 wrote:minimetoo26 wrote:I'm blaming uly for my gratuitosity. We're playing Avatar Wars, which I know I'll lose but I'm playing anyway...

Yesterday was such a Red Letter day I took a nap with Erin and unplugged the phone. The messages just piled up...........

My m-i-l is in tears over everything, and was talking about a future funeral. I thought she meant her friend who has been in the hospital, but she was talking about her boyfriend who is now on portable oxygen. He was only out getting his car inspected. And the friend in the hospital, who she said had two weeks to live, is one of Steve's patients, and he says they guy is ready for discharge but the wife doesn't want to take hime home and deal with him. He has a day pass from the hospital to go to the bank today. And that doesn't cover her bowels or finances, which is the usual daily dose of angst.
My sister with the stepdaughter who was just released from rehab has taken shit for 20 years now and just finally put her foot down. She stopped wearing her ring this weekend and will see where things go from here before she makes any big decisions. While I was listening to her rant, my power went out so I had to call her back so she could finish her rant.
My older sister emailed me the news that a guy I used to date committed suicide the week after 9/11. I mean, she just found out herself, but her timing was exquisite, to say the least.
I will enjoy Vegas immensely. I doubt I'm picking up the phone between now and the time I come back, either....

Re: This weeks rankings- Hooligan's Holiday edition
Here we go --

Emily and Jackie, practicing their well known and famous "Jig" dance. this is the dance that starts off all of the Hooligans shows. this was taken during a photo shoot for their upcoming "Lost up North" album. Photo shoot was held Memorial Day weekend, at WhiteFish Point in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Weather was a little chilly, but they enjoyed the camping the whole group did at Tahquamenon Falls that weekend.

Yesterday was such a Red Letter day I took a nap with Erin and unplugged the phone. The messages just piled up...........
It sounds like you've had some kind of shit going on lately. Poor thing....
Of course, I don't know how much better I'd feel going toe to toe with uly.....![]()

You can leave the phone to me. I know how to ignore them......

Stay sane, Mini. I think you're doing an amazing job with all the kids (yours) and the older kids (your in-laws, sis, etc. etc. etc. . . .)minimetoo26 wrote:

It's incredible how having a day job will cut your unwanted phone calls by about 99%. Even people who have your cell phone number largely respect the hours of 8 to 5. Obvious exceptions, a few state politicians I could name, but won't . . .

WooHoo! Top 50. Now to stay there. Gratuity rules. Tips for everyone.

Squirrels are the architects of forests, the planters of trees, nature's own acrobats and show a zest for life that can inspire us. Every day should be National Squirrel Appreciation Day!

Many of these (squirrel) migrations were probably caused by food shortages as well as habitat overcrowding. We solved that for them. We not only reduced their habitat, we reduced the whole species by about 90%. The least we can do now is share a little birdseed with them.

On the phone again...
Knowing a great deal is not the same as being smart; intelligence is not information alone but also judgment, the manner in which information is collected and used.
