I think we found our house

#1 Post by peacock2121 » Fri Mar 20, 2009 1:40 pm

We had one we were 'over the moon' for bought just before we made our offer.

We had one that I was settling for who annoyed me by coming back with a counter-offer that as $500 less than the asking price.

I think we found "the one" today.

My sister told me that things were not working out 'for a reason'. I think she might have been right.

This one is literally Peahan move-in ready.

Don't tell the seller that I would pay the full asking price, okay?

I didn't know it was lost.

It doesn't pay to piss off pea during negotiations!

Congrats on finding "the one". Now get that contract signed before somebody else steals it away from you!

I'm a firm believer in this adage.

I'm excited about the house for you! Deets, please!!

And get your offer in so you can lock it down and nobody else takes it.

What was "wrong" with the one you are leaving? Of, what is better about the one you are moving into?

The weather, I think. I'm assuming she found her Florida house. I tend to be vague on details sometimes, though...

They're not leaving. Pea and Sting are becoming snowbirds. They've been spending a lot of time down there to help out their folks already; now they'll be doing so from their own place.

What about Millie???? She'll get lonely stuck there in the garage all by herself all winter...

Congrats on the house, Pea! Sounds perfect. I'm happy for you.

Actually she just wants to live close to me again.
