Undersea volcano eruption

Near the island of Tonga. I heard about this on ABC World News, which had some brief video, but this blog has a really outstanding series of photos of the event:

There was also a 7. something earthquake near there today with a tsunami warning (no tsunami yet, just a warning).

You mean the photo which has the other photographers in the frame? I thought that, too! :shock: '

But I didn't see any caption about how "these are the last photographs taken at the disaster site before..."

Probably able to uplink them to a satellite before the chunks of aa struck their boat.
