March Madness, Thursday, March 19 SPOIILERS

#1 Post by andrewjackson » Thu Mar 19, 2009 12:08 pm

Go Matadors!

Giving Memphis a helluva game. As far as I can tell from Matchtracker.

Butler-LSU has been close from the start.

Aggies looking good as many expected.

They need to look that good on Saturday or they are out.

Made their first 10 shots plus 2 free throws. Missed shot number 11 but got the rebound and put it in. It was pretty impressive. They never looked back after that.

Memphis and LSU pull out wins after close games. Texas A&M wins by 13.

Onto the big game of the day:

Purdue v. Northern Iowa

So big, it isn't even on TV here.

Also,

Radford v. North Carolina
Cal v. Maryland
Chattanooga v. UConn
No matter where you go, there you are.

Purdue vs. N. Iowa is my 5/12 upset pick. Sorry, I didn't think about how that might affect you.

But they are showing it now on Ch 11

The only way it will affect me is that you will lose a point.

CH. 11 is only showing it until the North Carolina game starts. That doesn't count.

Six minutes and counting since Northern Iowa last scored.

The Panthers broke the string at 8 minutes.

Let's do it again!

Interesting quirk in the March Madness On Demand online service: You can switch back and forth between games that are in action, but if you click on a game that is in a commercial break you are stuck there until either the commercial break is over.

Your other option is to open multiple windows (provided your connection is fast enough), but video quality suffers.

Apparently no matter when you click the new game starts with a commercial, its free so I don't care
