I did not eat a box of Do-Si-Dos today
I ate half of one box, and I am eating half of another box.

Yes. And they changed them this year. The cookies were a little drier, and the PB filling was less flavorful.sunflower wrote:Are do-si-dos the peanut butter sandwich ones?

Well, then, if the cookies are half as good as last year's, you are entitled to eat twice as many to make everything come out even!

I found that the samoas were not as good as they used to be. And I just had them not that long ago, when ex-bf bought a box on election day. I wonder if taking out trans fats or something changed the recipes. The thin mints tasted the same.TheCalvinator24 wrote:Yes. And they changed them this year. The Tag-a-longs (chocolate/peanut butter cookie things) were the same. A whopping 15 of them in a box.

Yes, I had those last week and you're right, they tasted the same. I forgot how good those were!!TheCalvinator24 wrote:The Tag-a-longs (chocolate/peanut butter cookie things) were the same. A whopping 15 of them in a box.

They are good. And I can't eat more than about 4 at a time of those. I can eat an entire box of Do-Si-Dos in a sitting.sunflower wrote:Yes, I had those last week and you're right, they tasted the same. Why on earth did they make us all do that? The only thing I liked about it was I didn't have to change into gym clothes on those days and therefore didn't mess up my hair. Not like it moved with half a can of Aqua Net in it...but I thought it did.

I liked my partner. Too bad she was murdered by her husband 30 some-odd years later. My square dance partner was Nicole Brown. Yes, that one.Second Chance wrote:oh, me too. And somehow ya always got assigned a partner you couldn't stand.

Maybe pre-connected, or something. I knew you when you rode a tricycle, and I knew Nicole in 3rd, 5th, 7th and 9th grades.Craig Paquette wrote:Estonut wrote:I liked my partner. In 4th grade, I was transferred to Simmons Elementary for MGM, and she was transferred to Skylark Elemantary for MGM. MGM is what was recently called "the Gate program."
I was then transferred to Skylark for 5th & 6th grades.
When 6th grade started, she wasn't there.
When I started Junior High in 7th grade, she was there as an 8th grader. I think that's why she disappeared from 6th grade. That must have been the year she was moved up to 7th.
When I was an 8th grader (JH), she was a freshman in HS.
When I was a 9th grader, she was in my German class as a 10th grader. After that year, her family moved from Garden Grove to Dana Point.
