I think, if you dint live with your mom, this would be a job you would probably do really well too.

No squirrels on that list
Suitguy is not bitter.

feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive

The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.

That is a wonderful story, Miss a1mama. I especially liked the family portrait near the bottom, because you can tell that Jasmine is thinking eyelid messages to the little dogs. She's saying, "You sit still and stop yapping until the photographer says we're done!"

I agree with you. I think I would be excellent at that job, too. I always wanted a real baby sheepie of my own. I took very good care of my stuffed one.

I still have a lot of work to do on Lizbit, however, so maybe I shouldn't take on many more other babies until I have her fixed up right. She can't even type yet.

Thank you for thinking of me.

I have helped raise and become a big brother and mentor to many, many poor orphans during my life, including a few dogs. In fact, as far as I'm concerned I'm still trying to raise Annie and Lizbit and teach them to become productive members of society....
Squirrels are the architects of forests, the planters of trees, nature's own acrobats and show a zest for life that can inspire us. Every day should be National Squirrel Appreciation Day!

Many of these (squirrel) migrations were probably caused by food shortages as well as habitat overcrowding. We solved that for them. We not only reduced their habitat, we reduced the whole species by about 90%. The least we can do now is share a little birdseed with them.
