Good call! I do enough damage to my phones myself, so it will be a miracle enough if I don't kill it...I'm not letting anyone else near it!! I have an issue with phones and liquid, as well as dropping them in parking lots.

Did you get a $7.00 "skin" that protects it from all kinds of stuff - but especially keeps it from breaking into 5 pieces should you drop it on a hard surface?

They are well worth the money.

They didn't have any in the store, they tried to sell me weird expensive cases. I ordered it online, it's arriving tomorrow. I think it might have been $9 but I think we're talking about the same thing. That and a car charger because they wouldn't give me the online discount in the store. And since I already had to order online, and 2 day shipping is free, I'll wait to get 25% off, thank you very much.

My brother is a mechanic and he's got this rubberized cell phone that you couldn't kill if you tried. Seriously, he invited me to fling it.

That is cool. Was it a cover or the phone itself? On the verizon site there was a cover that looked like rubber that was called "tire tread" or something like that, I thought it was the look of it but maybe it's extra protective.

It's the actual phone. I think it's a Motorola. It's really thick and industrial with a kind of a tread on it. Yellow and black, it looks very DeWalt.

That is so cool. They should really mass market those, says the girl who broke 3 phones in a 2 year period.

I want one!

So I can take it hunting and fishing.

No, I don't expect it to shoot bullets, Uly and Esto.

Does it have a fish locator? Does it tie flies?

Does he let Chaz chew on it?

I was going to be impressed that you got the DeWalt reference, but then I remembered....... you're The Construction Empress of L.A.!

My fancy new silicone blackberry cover arrived this afternoon. Now my blackberry is partially safe from my "drop in the parking lot" episodes.

Of course the cover now also has a strange film over it from the aloe that is all over my left hand. :?
