One Night of Queen

#1 Post by christie1111 » Tue Mar 17, 2009 7:01 pm

Weent last night at a very nicely remodeled Waterbury CT theater. Apparently it was the sit of the first concert when they toured the US in 1975. The guy who portrays Freddie Mercury is pretty good. Did he perform with his back to the audience quite a bit. This guys seemed to sing to the band a lot but his bare back looked good.

:-)

Alot of MWAGs who looked suspiciously English attended. Like they played rugby about 30 years ago.

A good time was had by the whole Family1111.

I have no idea of when the first tour was, but that was what Husband1111 said. He was prolly misquoting something he read.

But yes, that is the theatre. Beautiful place after the extensive remodel.

It WAS the first place they played in the states to promote an album that most people had heard of!
