thank you all for your support. the board approved remodeling the library this summer!! Woo Woo! pinch me. . .

Terrific! Glad to know that at least one school board isn't sitting on their brains. The members of our town's would need an MRI to determine if they had one in the first place.
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

that will be the back-breaking part. packing and unpacking. I've got 12,000 of them to do. . . wanna volunteer?

I think bdm is closer and he's used to backbreaking work.

Sure! The Friends of the Library have a lot of experience with this. Can you send out a school bus to pick us up? :)

lily, think of it as gym fees you don't have to pay. A housemate said once, completely ingenuously, "that summer I worked for UPS I didn't even need to go to the gym all summer & I had really great biceps" or something like that. Of course, really great biceps may not be what you were after, but what the hey.
