Klondike's Heath ice cream bars are so...
incredibly and delectably delicious that I'm scarfing 3 or 4 of them a day - and I'm not even a sweets/ice cream kinda gal! So- an acute case of munchies? Nope. Knocked up? HA- that ship has long since sailed, returned, and sunk. Obsessive craving for a newly discovered major YUM? That's it!

I like them too. Right now I am on a kick for Bomb Pops, the red-white-blue popsicle thingies with lime, raspberry and cherry flavors. 80 calories, which I dint know.

When I buy ice cream, it doesn't have a chance of staying in my freezer for longer than 2 days - no matter how much I buy.
I am weak that way.
I am strong enough to not buy the stuff.
Sometimes.
Most times, actually.

Anything Klondike makes is usually a killer. Can you cut these in half? That's what I used to do with
their regular ice cream bars. I'm like Peacock now, I just don't buy them 'cause that's the best thing for me.

SteelersFan can't resist Klondikes of any flavor. For a while, I thought it was the ice cream version of Isaley's chipped ham, available only in Pittsburgh. But no, it's a national treat. His sis stocks up whenever we go back to da Burgh.

I think they haven't been on sale in a while, we don't have any.

Those things are great; the candy bar sucks, but the ice cream bars are most satisfying.
My real weakness, though, is Girl Scout Thin Mints. I usually buy a case (12 boxes) from anyone who is selling them. I usually manage to limit my intake to eating one box at a sitting, but it is tough. I have heard that they are really good when you take them out of the freezer, but I never have them long enough to become frozen, so I do not know if this is true or not.

I personally prefer the DQ Dilly Bar; No Sugar Added, of course. I takes me about 2 months to polish off a box of 6 (well at one or two bites every other day or so, whaddya expect!?)

Do you know there is an Edy's ice cream for GS Thin Mints? There are Thin Mints in the ice cream.wintergreen48 wrote:Those things are great; the candy bar sucks, but the ice cream bars are most satisfying.

My first wife liked Weight Watchers' ice cream bars. She'd eat a whole box in one day.

Re: Klondike's Heath ice cream bars are so...
I found out last night that elwing had been holding out on me. She normally takes care of the Girl Scout cookie order (because I would order a case of Tagalongs, a case of Thin Mints and a case of Trefoils), but I didn't hear about any cookies this year. Then last night she hosted the monthly meeting of her women's mission circle and served Thin Mints as refreshments. Fortunately there were two or three left over after the women departed.sunflower wrote:I also don't buy ice cream, unless I've accepted I'll eat the whole container.

SteelersFan caved and bought two boxes of peanut butter sandwich cookies. At least, that's how many there were when I got home from Denver. He may have already downed two boxes.wintergreen48 wrote:Those things are great; the candy bar sucks, but the ice cream bars are most satisfying.
