elwing's trip to Indianapolis did not immediately generate a job offer; however she is "in the pool" (sound familiar?) for upcoming positions. She decided not to try for the bus driver positions because they require additional training.
The weather here promises to be gorgeous for the weekend, with highs in the 60s and 70s. On Saturday our church is hosting another fund-raiser for a mission trip to Morocco. This time it's a Moroccan banquet, serving various native delicacies. I'm told this includes chickpeas/falafel and lamb, among other things.

Welcome? Not with open arms, but there's no prohibition as there is in some Muslim countries. However the mission group will be working with missionaries who are working with migrant sub-Saharan Africans who cross the border in the hopes of getting into Spain. There are refugee centers clustered across the Mediterranean coast. The missionaries are not evangelists (in the Billy Graham sense) - they provide medical and other assistance to the refugees, as well as spiritual consolation.MarleysGh0st wrote:Are Christian missionaries welcome in Morocco?
