Maybe I'll get to see a record set today

#1 Post by gotribego26 » Sat Feb 28, 2009 11:19 am

I am going to see the Davidson Wildcats play basketball this p.m. They are playing the lowly Georgia Southern Eagles.

If Stephen Curry scores 30 (his average is 28+) against them he will become Davidon's all time leading scorer. He scored 28 against the Eagles earlier this year.

If Pea ever decided to have a college hoops Baby Boy, I think Steph would be a candidate. He is a classy kid, from a classy family. I hope he stays for four years.

We had a 54-inch feature on the guy he will take over as No. 1 (John Gerdy), who will be at the game today. I like it when people are gracious about their records.

College Hoops Baby Boys break your heart. They only last 4 years.

Plus, I would have to learn a whole new sport. I have few distinctions in hoops.

The one and only NFL game I ever attended featured Rohn Stark becoming the all-time leader in career punting yards. Not that it exactly had much fanfare.... well, OK, no fanfare at all.....

Plus, he's since been bumped to #5 on the all time list....
