Lol!!! I saw that last night...suckers!!! No way I'm doing that!!! (Although now that I learned you don't have to give the thing up on Sundays, I might start giving up more for Lent from now on!)

Except on Sundays.

I'm not sure whether he shaves on Sundays or not! Of course, giving up the beard means shaving, and he says he uses that time looking in the mirror to examine his conscience and contemplate his mortality. That actually makes sense, doesn't it?

The guy in front of me in the lunch line got the very last bit of the tuna salad!!! And there was no veggie pizza left, only sausage (which I don't like anyway.) So I ended up eating cheesy scalloped potatoes with ham (yeah, I know, ham is meat.) But it wasn't very good, and I didn't enjoy it! I kind of had my heart set on a yummy tuna sandwich! Since the idea of abstaining, and giving something up, is to make a sacrifice -- well, I happen to love fish and seafood. So eating it is certainly no sacrifice. In fact, it would be a more meaningful sacrifice for me to give up fish!

I've given up the elevator this Lent. I guess I could ride it on Sundays, but hey, I don't work on Sundays :P

I gave up being a "yes man" to everyone...not that it's a sacrifice but I figured Lent was as good a time as any to take charge of my life...that's why I've been all crazy this week!

He usually works for scritches, but from you, it'll probably take a few squirrel avatars as well....

But sunflower's partner paid me for this one. Maybe I'll collect some cash from mini.
