You will apparently miss the largest and most important of the Baltic States (Lithuania, which is half of my ancestral homeland). Vilnius is home of St. Anne's Church, the finest Gothic church in Eastern Europe (when Napoleon passed through on his way to Moscow, he wanted to take St. Anne's back to Paris, but of course he wasn't even able to get his army back, much less the finest Gothic church in Eastern Europe). Trakai Hill has some interesting ruins from the old palace, but since you are not going to Vilnius, that is no nevermind.
Don't quite see how a Baltic Cruise will get you to Berlin, since Berlin is about 100 miles inland, but maybe you are going to have river cruise with the sea cruise. Whatever. When you get to Berlin, you will want to go to the Museum Island, which is where they have the Altes Museum (lots of neat old stuff, including the bust of Nefertiti, who was really hot) and the Neues Museum (which has lots of interesting stuff) and the Pergamon Museum which has, among other wonders, the Gate of Ishtar, which has nothing to do with horrible movies from the 1980's. Many other things on the island, and elsewhere in Berline, but you will not likely have time to go to the other places.
Innocent, naive and whimsical. And somewhat footloose and fancy-free.
