"Users browsing" question

"Users browsing" question

So, the thingie says we have 7 people on the bored now, 4 registered, 2 hidden and 1 guest.

Then, the other thingie tells me that mikey is here - no one else (plus me makes 2) how come I don't see the other 2 announced as browsing?

Now, mikey is gone, lb is here and the numbers still don't add up.

I think (but am not sure) that once you are in a post, you are no longer browsing the forum.

I changed my status to hidden once I started the QOD just so people wouldn't assume I was doing a game posting or scoring and updating and then wait around for it.

I guess I just defeated the purpose of being hidden in the first place. Ha!

Anyone who is in the process of composing and posting a message will not show up on the list at the top of the Bored, which only shows those who are actually viewing the message list or threads.

There is also a bit of a delay in posters showing up on the list when they first come to the Bored, and coming off of the list after they leave....

I think (but am not sure) that once you are in a post, you are no longer browsing the forum.

So the list on top is just people who are not actively talking and are signed on, with the bored in a window.

If I am talking, like right now - not now when you read this, but now as I am typing, my name will not appear.
