we are somewhat excited

#1 Post by BigDrawMan » Fri Feb 20, 2009 5:36 pm

i took some new arty things I been working on to show a gallery owner i kinda know to get some input and whatnot.
I thought it was good and new and unusual and had some wow to it.
but i dont know much about this sort of thing

anywho

she said she has never seen anything like it and wants some to sell in her gallery

and for me to be in her big show in june,if i ca make some more that are equally fabu

and to be more abstract
which is good, as being abstract means that there is no such thing as a mistake

THAT is too fabulous beyond words. You're right about the abstract! You have free reign!

With free reign comes great...I was going to say responsibility, but, no. Creativity, dude. Creativity.

Post some pics of your recent stuff. It will inspire some of us.
Well, then

Congratulations!

You're going to have to post more details about this gallery, because I can see some BB get-togethers in the 'burgh for this!

I am delighted. Not surprised, but delighted.

I'm not surprised. You're good with your hands. And you have talent.

I, too, want to see pics.

Beedums, these are seriously great. What ballpark range do they sell for?

I think there were prices after you clicked on them.

Beedums, these are wonderful!

One of the things that I've observed with great interest is the transformation of your self-image from "a guy who makes stuff out of wood" to an artist who takes his work seriously.

I wish you enormous success.

Thanks, Uly. I am seriously stupid. No sarcasm intended. Or ignorant. Or blind.

Anyway, I think these are undervalued.

I think he added the prices after you looked at them......or after he figured out that "intarsia" warranted big buck prices.

You are gifted.......but I'm sure you already know that. :)

Three of these I loved, and to play the devil's advocate, one I didn't care for. But you're still gifted.

I LOVE "Dancing in the Moonlight". This is very very very cool stuff, FudeDood.
