The Bored Candy Barter Exchange Is Open...

#1 Post by littlebeast13 » Thu Feb 19, 2009 2:11 pm

While getting my check this morning, I picked up a couple bags of Easter Laffy Taffy. It only has 2 flavors, stawberry and banana. The strawberry ones alone were worth buying the bags, but anyone who wants to can have all the banana ones for something better..... banana is one flavor that should never be allowed in candy....

I'll take your banana Laffy Taffy and trade for my grape Jolly Ranchers. The watermelon and cherry are the bomb, but the grape tastes all mediciney. If that's not a problem.

Hmmmm, I don't trust Jolly Ranchers that aren't red. I can't imagine the grape ones taste very good.... and that's exactly what I'd figure they would taste like is medicine....

Grape Nerds, grape Now N laters, grape Fun Dip.... perfectly fine. I'll pass on the grape Jolly Ranchers though....

I've got a bunch of spinach-artichoke dip to trade, but so far nobody has offered up any chocolate. :(

I think I might rather have the dip. Goes well on my wheat thins! I have half a box (about 16) of these Ferrero Rocher chocolates to offer.

(I won't send you the half eaten one in the picture...)

They are fine but they just aren't my particular cup of tea. Which is odd because I like chocolate and I like hazelnuts.

Here's the best offer you're going to get.....

How about you just toss the taffy (and, for once, I'm not being euphemistic) and I'll send you some clear, cool Rocky Mountain spring water?

I'll double Fan's water offer if you'll quit the sodas. All of 'em.

That is pure, cool, Rocky Mountain spring water.

Some of it could be yours if you'll knock off the sodas . . .

We could meet halfway and strike a compromise. We have soda springs in town as well....

This is the Ute Chief Spring where the water tastes like Sprite. The statue pictured is relatively (20 years) new. When we were kids, there was an old statue of an Indian chief with the water in a basket, but I couldn't find a picture of the older one with a quick search.

mmmm banana - mmmmmmmmm. I may have a stale m&m in the bottom of my purse to offer. Not likely though. Candy doesn't survive long around me.

Hermillion, bring the chocolate with you when you come. I prefer dark. Thanks! :D

I only eat cherry lifesavers, now and later or whatever comes in fruit flavors, so if you
have any of those, send them my way. I got nothing to send your way though, LB. Sorry.

Does anyone have some Bit-O-Honey?

I've got some Sees Candy?
