She sounded great considering she just had hip replacement yesterday!
Boonie had called me late yesterday afternoon after she was in her room to tell me
things went well and I could hear her in the background asking about Frank's puzzle!
I knew then she was going to be just fine.
She can't wait to see if they have internet service so she can get her laptop and join in
on the fun! She's already had 3 physical therapy sessions. Well wishes will be welcomed,
I'm sure.

I'll give her three cheers. Hip hip . . . . oh, never mind.

Great news!
Please let Boonie know she doesn't have to stay in the rehab place until the insurance runs out. They will want her to and she doesn't necessarily need to. She can get rehab at home.

I dunno...don't medical personnel tend to frown on random giggles and guffaws? She might get put in the psych ward.

That's a rather personal photo to be displaying without their permission, isn't it?

I found it just laying around on images.google. If they didn't want it used, they shouldn't have left it out.
I can't even tell if it is male or female.
btw, the original was of an artificial left hip. I personalized it for me. Maybe I should have colorized it like the Obama poster, too.

Excellent news from both melly and BiT! I wish mel a speedy recovery, and I'm glad BiT is going to bite the bullet and get hip. Or A hip.
