AnnieC of course I love you to bits back. You are a real dog. You are a real dog who can type. !!!!!

Basically, if someone came to your house to meet AnnieC, they would meet AnnieC, acting exactly like the AnnieC in the posts. Of that I am sure. You're not hiding behind a facade (I am sure you know what word means, even if some others will have to go look it up!). Whether or not you can type via paws or via mental transmission to someone with slightly more (now don't take this in the wrong way) flexurous* dexterity.

(*Flexurous is actually not a word, except maybe in my family)

If you came over to my tree, you'd meet me. I am a real squirrel who can type and draw!!! I would act just like I do in my posts, and if I were drunk enough, I might even let you scritch me....
Squirrels are the architects of forests, the planters of trees, nature's own acrobats and show a zest for life that can inspire us. Every day should be National Squirrel Appreciation Day!

--squirrelmama (10/3/07)

Many of these (squirrel) migrations were probably caused by food shortages as well as habitat overcrowding. We solved that for them. We not only reduced their habitat, we reduced the whole species by about 90%. The least we can do now is share a little birdseed with them.

Beebs says:
I question your use of ignominious (forget the fact that it's not a front and, really, if you've been paying attention to posters who have been here for, say, years, as you obviously have or else you wouldn't know or think you know that someone was posting about you, you should know who "Fan" is).
Thing is, I mostly pay attention to discussions of stuff I'm interested in discussing. I'm interested in discussing music, for instance, but "Sisyphean Fan" never appeared in any such discussions I remember. Their other persona did, I might add without taking swings at me, so when their other persona suddenly started taking swings at me out of the blue it was a surprise.

I 1st saw the "Sisyphean Fan" name & avatar a few weeks ago, giving me a dictionary definition of the Greek root of "sarcastic", & proving in the process that they don't know how the word is used in modern English parlance.
"Shameful, humiliating, disgraceful"-usual definition of ignominious

That doesn't really apply to a picture of a Sisyphean cat in my book.
Not "applies to picture". Applies to behavior. And MerryCritterItude.
Plus, where is all your current animosity coming from? Mercy me.
There's a group of people who give sympathy to various posters in various plights, but don't like me so dump on me even if my plights are the same. The exact same. "My plights are their plights". OK. Like a friend of mine (well, uh, I thought they were a friend at the time!) said (at the time) "its all just really high school". Turns out they were right, not only in what they were talking about, but all of life. Boy, that sucks.

I just googled, since I didn't know the Greek root. It appears that the Greek root is "sarkasmus," "sarkazein", etc. literally biting the lips in rage sort of thing. I couldn't find Sisyphus referenced. Poor Sisyphus wasn't sarcastic, he was just tahred.
Well, then

That's because Sisyphus wasn't on the verbal part of the ACT, which I apparently must have slept through....

That's the spirit!

Sisyphean Fan, as opposed to Sisyphus, Original Article, responded a few weeks/days/whatever ago to me saying to christie1111 that I was being sarcastic in some phrase christie1111 claimed not to understand (christie1111 was being sarcastic, & I knew it) with that dictionary "Greek Roots" def of "sarcasm" you just looked up, & went on to say that that's who I am, a bitter, caustic (oh heck I can't remember the actual buncha words, & am not going to even look it up myself!) person. Which was waaaaaay over the top.

Hey, John Stewart gets awards for being sarcastic that even have "sarcastic" written right into the "Its why we love him" award-presenter's speech. OK, I know I am not John Stewart. Just an example. OK.

Oh, my God! Is THAT what this whole thing is about? Sisyphus doesn't have anything to do with sarcasm, because one has nothing to do with the other! Like I said, don't go spouting off about stuff when you have NFI what you're talking about. Or what anybody says or does, for that matter.

I don't know if it's narcissism or paranoia but here's a newsflash, toots: Not everything has to do with you! Not everything said or done is some sinister plot designed to rain down misery on your silly ass. In fact, very little has anything to do with you and practically nothing I say or do has anything to do with you. You are so damned busy trying to ferret out any slight or inference (real or imagined) for which to take offense that you have absolutely no idea about what I do or why I do it.

I could be wrong and if so, my bad, but I don't think Christie was being sarcastic to you. I think she's just a genuinely nice person that you were being unnecessarily mean and nasty to for no other reason that it apparently is the only thing that brings you joy. Since Christie is a person that can actually be hurt by a creature such as yourself, I spoke up. And I took the definition from a current dictionary, so you can take your modern parlance and shove it in your bitter, caustic piehole. And then wash it all down with a big of cup of STFU.

And, it's "Jon" Stewart. Because, you know, spelling is important.
