There was a question on TV's EATERIES & DRINKERIES
Jack's
(Jack Tripper's)
Bistro
The answer was Three's Company and I wonder would they have accepted Three's a Crowd the spin off I thought The Regal Beagle would have been a better question

If I understand the category correctly, they gave you the name of the eatery, and you had to give the name of the show in your response. But I could be wrong about that.

You are correct but how does that change my comment?

Rereading, I realized your point.
I thought you meant the RESPONSE should have been the Regal Beagle. I see now you meant the clue.
And I believe you're right.

The Regal Beagle is where they always hung out, not his restuarant.
I bet they would have accepted the spin-off. jack got his place when it was still

Monks and MacLarens are the places where the gangs from their respective shows hang/hung out while The Pie Hole and Luke's Diner are run by people in the show. So either work as an answer
