HENRY

#1 Post by MarleysGh0st » Wed Feb 11, 2009 10:32 am

I don't recall hearing this acronym--today's word from Word Spy--before, but it sounds like something that might appear in a SyndieBAM question:
HENRY
n. A person with a substantial income, but little wealth. [From the phrase High Earner, Not Rich Yet.]

You could add the modifier "accumulating" to make it SIFTLOAD

Actually, I can't complain. My only debts are my mortgage, my car payment, and my student loans.

Well, I guess I can complain.

I'd laugh, except that I might cry afterwards.
