Trivia item: The winner "Stump" the Sussex Spaniel, at age 10, is the oldest winner ever of Best in Show, nearly died five years ago and made a comeback.

Hell...it was my $500k question on BAM in 2000...and I couldn't remember what it was!! :cry:

English Springer Spaniel that year
2000 was the one year I was there and an English Springer fan went with me. It was almost like winning the Super Bowl. It was one of three times in recent years (six in all) that a Springer won, so they could be called the Steelers of Westminster.

Well, that 4-footer was no Annie, but I do admit that I found that face quite appealing. The winner WAS highly scritchable.
