Dave, were we affected?
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

Did bob#s have something to do with this?
I believe in the usefulness of useless information.

That will have no effect on the Bored whatsoever, or anyone who posts on it, unless you ever happened to create an account at phpbb.com.
I think I might have, but I can't remember for sure.
I guess it's time for me to start changing some passwords, just in case.

Ah, I see, the effect was on the users of the main phpbb.com system itself, and not the folks who only log into a board that's set up on it. (I think I said that the way I meant it.) Thanks for the clarification, Dave. I hope it doesn't affect you too badly, or at all.tubadave wrote:gsabc wrote:From a news story:

Correct. Phpbb.com is the main site for the phpbb software, which is what this iteration of the Bored is using. Login information on that site was hacked, but it has no relation to login information here.
I've been searching for a bit, and I can't find any evidence that I had a login there, but I've been using the same set of passwords for too long as it is, so some changes are probably in order.
