I was sent an email with a very similar listing of these words/phrases from a friend who's half Chinese. While I wouldn't purposely make fun of someone's ethnicity, I found it harmless/cute.

Now there's a new photo scandal making the rounds involving Miley Cyrus again. This time it's her and a group of friends, all pulling their eyes with their fingers and smiling. The one kid in the photo who's not, is the Asian in the group. Who knows what the back story to this is. But my first thought was that the media needs to lighten up.

So I suppose it's ok to find something amusing if it comes from the horse's mouth? Received this a while back; came from someone who's originally from Arkansas:

I think there is a difference in making fun of an ethnicity, and making fun of a funny sounding language. But I could just be a Dum Fuk.
