HAVE YOU EVER BEEN GUILTY OF LOOKING AT OTHERS YOUR OWN AGE AND THINKING, SURELY I CAN'T LOOK THAT OLD.
WELL.. YOU'LL LOVE THIS ONE.
MY NAME IS ALICE SMITH AND AS I WAS SITTING IN THE WAITING ROOM FOR MY FIRST APPOINTMENT WITH A NEW DENTIST I NOTICED HIS DDS DIPLOMA, WHICH BORE HIS FULL NAME.
SUDDENLY, I REMEMBERED A TALL, HANDSOME, DARK-HAIRED BOY, WITH THE SAME NAME, HAD BEEN IN MY HIGH SCHOOL CLASS SOME 30-ODD YEARS AGO.
COULD HE BE THE SAME GUY THAT I HAD A SECRET CRUSH ON, WAY BACK THEN? UPON SEEING HIM, HOWEVER, I QUICKLY DISCARDED ANY SUCH THOUGHT.
THIS BALDING, GRAY-HAIRED MAN WITH THE DEEPLY LINED FACE WAS WAY TOO OLD TO HAVE BEEN MY CLASSMATE. AFTER HE EXAMINED MY TEETH, I ASKED HIM IF HE HAD ATTENDED FAIRVIEW HIGH SCHOOL .
'YES. YES, I DID. I'M A BULLDOG,' HE GLEAMED WITH PRIDE.
'WHEN DID YOU GRADUATE?' I ASKED.
HE ANSWERED , 'IN 1975. WHY DO YOU ASK?'
'YOU WERE IN MY CLASS!', I EXCLAIMED.
HE LOOKED AT ME CLOSELY. THEN, THAT UGLY, OLD, BALD, WRINKLED, FAT ASS,GRAY-HAIRED, DECREPIT SON-OF-A-B???? ASKED,
'WHAT DID YOU TEACH ???

Simlilar true story.
When we first started going to the our current church I met an older gentlement, lots of gray hair and a kid in college, with the same last name as a good friend (female) I had in college. I went to her wedding, she came to mine, we swapped Christmas cards for a good 20 years or so.
Anyway, when I found out he went to Texas A&M thought to ask if he knew her. I was expecting a 'Yes, she is my neice' or something. I thought he might be her dad, but I remembered her dad was not alive to be at her wedding and her brother gave her away.
Anyway, when he answered "Yes, she's my sister." I was shocked for second at how far apart in age they must have been, until I really thought about it that, yeah, he and I are probably no more than 4 years apart.

..what country can preserve it’s liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? let them take arms.

War is where the government tells you who the bad guy is.
Revolution is when you decide that for yourself.
