Business/Web Address

#1 Post by peacock2121 » Thu Oct 11, 2007 10:09 am

BDM has a business called Rough Around The Edges. He makes furniture and accent pieces and other stuff from repurposed wood. He is actually very good at it. He is now up to creating his own website. The problem now is that Rougharoundtheedges has been taken.

He can easily change the name of his company, as all it takes now is a change of business cards.

He has rejected all of the names I have suggested - which aren't very many.

Anyone have some creative ideas to contribute?

Rexer!

Those are actually really good.

He has a shop on etsy that he calls woodenaht. The problem is that only Pittsburgers know what the heck it means.

I like Redoneoldwood and Oldwoodinotnew.

Keep homulating, you have a gift for this.

What about using the domains Rougharoundtheedgesfurniture.com or rougharoundtheedges.org instead?

He rejected anything that is not .com - I do like adding furniture on the end - that actually might get a yes!

Thanks!

I like them all.

I suggested rougharoundtheedges2.com

He hated it, as he didn't like not being 1.

Then I said rougharoundtheedges1.com He hated that as well.

The boy just can't be satisfied.

At first I thought of something with "stalinesque" in it, but nothing suitable came to mind. So how about...

How about biguglygoutyfeets.com?

triplebogey.com?

Or, if yinz is looking for something more businesslike, iliketohandlemywood.com

Doesn't the big guy have minions to handle the thinking stuff for him?
