One thing about Survivor, lots of people learn some geography.

Including me.
-- In Iroquois society, leaders are encouraged to remember seven generations in the past and consider seven generations in the future when making decisions that affect the people.
-- America would be a better place if leaders would do more long-term thinking. -- Wilma Mankiller

Not enough apparently, if WWTBAM is any indication!

An interesting region of the world but not one I am likely to get to (one of the few... 8) ) so I have enjoyed looking up the area and learning a bit about it myself.

A few maps for those who might be as obsessive as I am about the location.

Shall we pull for the school principal from Auburn? Two things I found out - her bio says she is
the mother of 5. Her husband's ex-wife makes sure everyone knows that she is the mother of 3 of those 5.
The contestant has only birthed 2 children. The 2nd thing I learned is those boobs are new. :D

I'd be glad to root for your local favorite, except for that earlier discussion about how the Survivor cast are "recruited" rather than being selected from among all those regular people who audition on their own accord.

Anyway, I've been trying to stay away from Survivor, even though they pull me back in, from time to time.

I am agreeable to this! My only exception would be is if she is overly whiny, or if she is one of those "I want to lay on the beach and not do anything and let the men take care of me because I'm pretty" type people, then I will have to hope she gets voted off! :)

I will have to go back and see what Probst had to say about her in the preview show. Not that he is typically right. Last season he figured Bob would get the ax early because of his age and that he would be seen as weak in challenges and not able to fit in with the young bubbleheaded cliques that often develop.

That proved to be a little off the mark...

And I am shocked, just shocked I tell you to learn theat the boobs are new!

Brazil does seem to be the place to go to get them.

How old are the children? And who is taking care of them now?
