Early Success For CEG11:11...

#1 Post by littlebeast13 » Tue Feb 03, 2009 7:22 am

Christie will be happy to know that just a week after it was put out, all that is left of the initial 2 cases each we got of her Evenly Gorgeous body wash and bars is one bottle of body wash and one pack of soap.... meaning we've sold 11 of each thus far, which is very good for something so new!

Early success doesn't always translate into long term success in teh mean aisles of retail (Dawn Power Spin Brushes anyone?), but it's a good start! :D

We can't do that until the warehouse sends us some more.... and with new items, you seem to eitehr get it dumped on you right away, or just barely get a trickle in.....

I'm really surprised there has been no feature yet. But I'll be awfully surprised if there isn't one in by the end of the month.....

Also, have they started the ad campaign yet? The Biggest Loser is on tonight and they seem to have a lot of commercials for those types of products, so I'm going to be on the lookout.

Action Alleys are supposed to be being phased out company-wide... or so we heard. For a good part of the last 2 weeks, our action alley between Foods and HBA was completely wide open... until they decided to bring the features back out this past weekend....

As with most things, I'll believe it when I see it happen for the long haul....

Noooooo, not Action Alley!!!1

I haven't seen anything like that here, jam packed as usual. But, then again, my Mecca only has two kinds of Caress. Philistines.

Last week, the local Mecca I was in (not the Ginormous, It will now consume the Circuit City next door one) had absolutely zero Action Alley action. I thought they were clearing the aisles for a Walmart sanctioned go cart race.

If they opened the front doors, they could have landed that Airbus 320 there instead of in the Hudson.

I bought a bottle for the mrs today - we'll see how she likes it.

Our Wal-mart seems like a desert with no action alleys.

The last of the CEG11:11 has been scooped off our counters....

I shall try to remember to wander that way when I go in tomorrow morning to get my check to see if our supply has been replenished or not.....

So sweet.

Reminds me of Carla (I think that's her name), on Top Chef - they make fun of her for saying she puts love into her food.

I plan on giving you my completely honest, unbiased opinion on your new product, just as soon as Sprots will give me a bath with it....
Squirrels are the architects of forests, the planters of trees, nature's own acrobats and show a zest for life that can inspire us. Every day should be National Squirrel Appreciation Day!

--squirrelmama (10/3/07)

Many of these (squirrel) migrations were probably caused by food shortages as well as habitat overcrowding. We solved that for them. We not only reduced their habitat, we reduced the whole species by about 90%. The least we can do now is share a little birdseed with them.

ES could probably use some exfoliation.

Give it a shot! A bucket of Evenly Gorgeous and a wire brush might bring some adorabliousness to the surface.....
