Best Buy and reward coupons
SOmeone mentioned a bit ago about going to Best uy and using a 20.00 coupn for a 19.99 item amd was infprmed they needed yo buy something else. This morning in the weekly flyer I saw a movie the Mrs and I enjoy on sale for 4.99. I had a 5.00 coupon so down I went. Not only did they accept the coupon as payment they took care of the sales tax so a 5.42 movie cost me nothing.

That was me complaining about that. So did you have to get a manager to work out this deal or did the computer just accept it right off the bat?

I'd like to think that TPTB from Best Buy read my rant here and fixed their computer, but I kind of doubt that.

Marley, I can't remember, did your cashier try to take it and the computer wouldn't accept it? Or did the cashier just think it was that way, without attempting to scan it? Maybe it's just a training issue? Or sometimes different stores do things differently.

Yes, she scanned it and showed me on the cash register where it said "insufficient total". Maybe there's some override in this situation that she didn't know about.sunflower wrote:Marley, I can't remember, did your cashier try to take it and the computer wouldn't accept it?
