Expecting the kiddies to get drunk after the embarrassing defeat?

Every state and city tries to skimp on their salt purchases and then they start screaming for more when a bad winter hits.

Well, you'll just have to wait your turn, beedums. I'm sure Cargill Salt is digging it out from under Cayuga Lake as fast as they can!

Saying they're clueless is different than saying they're almost out of salt.

Some people have already called off for the whole day.

Or so I hear.
-- In Iroquois society, leaders are encouraged to remember seven generations in the past and consider seven generations in the future when making decisions that affect the people.
-- America would be a better place if leaders would do more long-term thinking. -- Wilma Mankiller

Rarely has a city set itself up for the mother of all letdowns as Pittsburgh has should the Steelers lose.

Not even last year's New England fans went this overboard.

We rise and fall hard with our team.

Going to a party near the campus - so, when the Steelers win, I've got front row tickets to the riot!

Car will be parked well, well away.

The forecast: clear with a high of around 43. Perfect riotin' weather.

We did it every time. We painted stuff blue and orange that never should have been painted blue and orange. We wore stuff to work that we never should have worn to work. We watched pre-game coverage for weeks ahead of time when we should have been sleeping peacefully -- but we couldn't sleep. We made one kid call his father from Costa Rica to find out the Kansas City score . . . oops, maybe that just was one small group . . . "What do you mean, 14-10! Did they forget they were playing football, go over to the hockey arena, and freeze solid!!??" "Yes. Except they didn't need to go anywhere."

I know exactly how they feel, and if the Cards by some unbelieveable miracle pull ahead, I'm gonna get as far away as I can from SteelersFan because I'm pretty sure black depression isn't catching, but you never know . . .

Which campus? Pitt, CMU, Duquesne? Don't let 'em trash CMU's campus, as Keith has to work there

We're going over to Karen & John's where they have the BIG TV!

Near Pitt - but my guess is, that whole stretch of Forbes, for both Pitt and CMU, is going to be blocked off. From my understanding, the "fun" last time happened right by the Cathedral of Learning.

Realistically, Southside will be a bigger mess.
