roger wont pick the stillers because he is mad over his inability to beat them 30 years ago.

it makes me laugh

The AP Story doesn't say he is picking the Cards. It says he is cheering for the Cards. And it does say that part of the reason is his lingering distaste over losing to the Stillers in the 70s.
