There is something wrong in a government where they who do the most have the least. There is something wrong when honesty wears a rag, and rascality a robe; when the loving, the tender, eat a crust while the infamous sit at banquets.

The Cardinals took out the Eagles. And nobody though they had a chance in that game, either.

I read earlier today in the LVRJ that most of the money is coming down on the side of the Cardinals, hence several books moving the line from 7 to 6.5.
I felt the change

Time meant nothing and never would again

I gave a friend six. He wanted 10, but I said no bet.

All for two dollars! You'd think we were betting our retirement accounts.

Hey, these things are serious business. I lost a bet once for $1 (sorry, Sprots, I bet against Denver) I lost, but I paid my debt with 100 pennies, which I'd painted blue and orange.

LOL! You and Cousin Howard!

I have a $10 tape dispenser box - after the Giants won last year, he paid off by taping $10 in change to that transparent postal tape and rolled it up, then wrote dumb stuff on the box, stuff like "Use before Euro takes over" and "Replenish next Super Bowl." We couldn't bet this year, though. Neither of us could bet against the Steelers.

Sting is still asking if I have any money on the game. Each time he asks, I say no. He keeps asking.

I think he doesn't believe me.

I'm not even in a pool. I do not want to be in the position where I hope the other team scores so I can make my numbers.
