They probably didn't have a phone game either.

I graduated from 2nd grade that year. My oldest cousin was the same year as me. Well, not my oldest cousin, but my oldest cousin who lived in Kendall Park. The only relative I can think of who was the same year as you was my Uncle Matt - he, like all of my Goldstein uncles, grew up in Winfield and like some of them, went to Rahway High. He went to Rutgers Engineering, grew scraggly long hair and a thick beard. I distinctly remember my Grandmother referring to him by saying, "I'd like you to meet my son, Jesus Christ"

Back to Rocky Hill, there was also a drunken night the summer of '93 when we went to some arthouse movie theater to see Like Water for Chocolate. We went down 27 and then headed west on some county road in the vicinity of Rocky Hill or Montgomery. Only time I ever went to that theater - I no longer remember where it is or what it's called.

I'll have to check my yearbook for your Uncle Matt; I went to Rutgers Engineering, too.

Was it the Off-Broadstreet Dessert Theater in Hopewell you remember? (No, that's live theater and you said you went to a movie theater. Nevermind.)

Naturally, when I read the header for this thread, I assumed you guys were talking about some game on Sunday, when some Birds will quickly fall to earth.

I seem to remember there being a single-screen or twin-screen theater in Rocky Hill, btw. I think it closed, though. Then there's a multiplex in Belle Mead, right on 206.
There is something wrong in a government where they who do the most have the least. There is something wrong when honesty wears a rag, and rascality a robe; when the loving, the tender, eat a crust while the infamous sit at banquets.

You can't fool me. Rockingham is where O.J. planned his farewell to his ex-wife!
