I am now projecting my big break into the top 100 sometime during April, 2046.

Yay! A little green in the midst of all this whiteness outside is most welcome. Congrats to TBone, too.
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

What's it been..... almost 10 years now?

I think back at all the fun and frivolity.
I remember the helping.
I remember the hoping.
I remember the fat fingering.
I remember the pajama parties.
I remember giving people shit for spending too much time here and ignorning their true responsibilities.
I remember gus hunts.
I remember being on the clock.
I remember traveling around the country on a quest, not only to get on a tv gameshow, but to meet people I had only typed with previously.
I remember so many screen names that used to be a big part of my life.
I remember gender defender.
I remember last one standing.
I remember fighting through TR's fucked up QOD's.
I remember the good ol' days. ::: sigh :::
Shit, I can't believe I can remember all this, but I have no idea what I had for dinner last night.

And I'm wondering....

How many posts will it take me to move up.....
let's say.....

16 places?

:-)

Hope all's well.

I want to fall back to #26, but I'm mouthy and those under me won't cooperate. Posting credits are overrated. Like LS Points, to you. :P

Thanks as always for doing this, LB.

I thought I was gonna have to look up "winter wonderland" plus blunder to get anything. Nay, not so!

More after this . . .

An Abert's squirrel stands in fairly fresh snow hoping that the hiker in his field of view has some food. I didn't, and he went back to foraging after I passed. Even this squirrel was smart enough to avoid the campground that evening, when the temperature plunged to 4 degrees and more snow fell. That night was an inauspicious beginning to my December trip to New Mexico and Arizona.

The Abert Squirrel in the snow is a great photo! It's the best character shot I've seen of this spiffily-dressed little beast, and allowed my mother to see our winter visitor. Lake City, CO, is home to many Aberts.

Un visiteur sur mon balcon! A visitor on my balcony!

. . .

Assise à l'ordinateur , j'aperçois cette petite bête qui me regardait. Malgré la vitre sale, je m'empresse à le croquer sur le vif.

Sitting at my computer, I saw this little beast looking at me so even if the window is dirty, I hurried with my camera to take a shot.

There's a very good chance I'll be visiting Bandelier this spring. No scritches, but if I see an Abert, I'll do my best to get a photo.

I dunno how far ahead of you Indigo and Mac are, but I'm sure it's a definite that you'll go ahead of them in the not too distant future.

Like I said before, you have a better chance of going green than red, though it's a better bet you will stay black for about the next 400 editions of so....
