38 right by my reckoning - I'm not sure that is good enough though.

I guessed 'cue' on the acting question - instead of prompt. Got lucky on Beyonce as a WAG and blew Mayflower and Indiana that I feel I should have gotten. The rest that I missed I didn't have a clue.

I took the test from the thread. I take it for real tonight. Wish I had taken it last night as I passed comfortably (45).

I also went with "cue". It almost feels right. It fits one part of the clue and "on cue" fits the other part. I'd guess they won't give credit for it but wouldn't be shocked if they did.

"Cue" does not fit the acting part of the clue. To cue someone is to give them the line before theirs. To prompt them is to give them their line.

Fair enough. I wasn't giving myself credit for that one anyway. It felt like "cue" was in the ballpark but not quite there. I tried to limit myself as if I was taking the actual test so I didn't linger long enough to see if I could come up with a word that fit better.

I had two mispellings that I know of... Gordon Ramsey instead of Ramsay and Romanoff instead of Romanov. Plus, I can't remember if I put down summers day or not for the Shakespeare question. The worst I could be is 40 if they count all those against me, 43 if I get credit for all of them.

Most of my educated guesses: lasers, Harriet Tubman, Vishnu, the Matterhorn, turned out correct.

Interesting that Vivaldi came up on the current SSS puzzle as a wrong answer.

I feel confident that you can count both Ramsay and Romanoff in your favor. The intructions say that spelling doesn't count but you should do your best. Both of those are easily close enough for credit.

Even if they accepted all my bad typing, I am at 31. I am not counting the ones I know but couldn't get my brain to regurgitate while the timer ticked away, just the ones I actually typed something in for.

I answered "mares" on the moon question. So much for 2 years of Latin.

I got these wrong: Shakespeare, Broadway musical, Great Expectations, mystery writer, and island (thought it was Madagascar). Timed out on the chef, Benjamin Button, knights, and Indiana. That's 41 right, much better than 34 last time.
