Happy New Year!

#1 Post by earendel » Mon Jan 26, 2009 7:00 am

It's the Chinese New Year, and we are now in the Year of the Ox. Those of you who have been writing "09" on your checks, be sure that you write "OX" now.

I think that my family will have to delay the celebration of the Lunar New Year until later this week, as the kids have too many activities around the dinner hour, making it very hard to get out to our favorite (well, the favoreite of the parents and Princess Peanut) Korean restaurant.

Crikey! I think I'll throw some shrimp on the barbie to celebrate!

Only it's in the 30's and threatening flurries and I already grilled in 40 degree weather this weekend. Maybe I'll just use the Outback gift card for takeout instead...
Knowing a great deal is not the same as being smart; intelligence is not information alone but also judgment, the manner in which information is collected and used.
