Connie is known as "the cookie lady" and wants to go into the cookie business. She has a tin of cookies in hand for Meredith. She also has her late father's pocket Bible. After a series of strokes he watched the show every day and although he couldn't speak most of the time, he did when the show came on and told Connie that one day she'd be on the show.

Meredith checks to make sure Connie's pants are on, then says that with $8,000 Connie can afford a belt.

Connie reads the question and Peg immediately tells her the answer. "I knew you'd know!" Connie exclaims. As the timer runs down Connie says "Resa says 'hey'." Peg replies, "Hey, Teresa."

If I got this question wrong, I would be thrown out of the state. For three years, I worked about a block from a bourbon distillery.

This is one of those questions where I'd probably have grabbed too early for the same lifeline as the player. Saw the "mus" part, didn't see the expected mouse, and then didn't relate the "domestica" with "house". But no problems with the rest of the stack, so not really any harm.
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

Here in Derbytown we have our own "cookie lady" - a Nigerian woman who got her start baking cookies and selling them at street fairs and such, carrying her wares in a basket on her head. Now her cookies are sold in a shop and also in some local fast-food restaurants.

When I saw her PAF list I thought she was in trouble, but she chose the right one. I'm guessing that Peg is a big baseball fan.
