Spoiler
"Have you ever seen the rain?" despite having heard it hundreds of times because honestly everyone who hears that song just doesn't listen to the words until the chorus at which point everyone belts out as one: IIIIIIII WANNA KNOOOOOOOOOOOOW......so I'm okay with missing it....

OK, so maybe no points for figuring out the word...but how about...

Well this town has closed down way too early,
And there's nothing to do,
So I'm driving around in circles,
And I'm thinking about you,
Today I heard you got a new last name,
Sure didn't know it was gonna hit me this way,
And the radio just keeps on playing all these songs about rain...

Thank you, Gary Allan

Spoiler
Fire and Rain - James Taylor. My wife's favorite artist. We have seen him perform at least 15 times over the years. The best show was a show he taped for PBS in NYC back in '97 or '98. We were close enough to shake his hand and get some autographs. Last year's tour seemed a bit different: he sounded a bit more country than in other performances. I was disappointed when the drugged-looking blonde female back-up singer was no longer on the tour.

Laughter in the Rain - Neil Sedaka (This song found its way into an LS by being mentioned by the DJ on the way home from work one Saturday morning last month. Turns out, when Billy Joel originally wrote "Movin' Out", it souned just like this song, so he had to change it. I had the chorus for Laughter in the Rain stuck in my head the rest of that morning because I haven't heard it in ages.....

JJC Points:

Marley gets a JJC point for identifying with Blind Melon! Maybe he should've gone to one of those auditions dressed in a bee suit....

Fanny got 2 JJC points, none of which came from any whining about not getting one yesterday. One was awarded along with Pea for both coming up with the same Judge Judy reference, and the other was for combined effort on the rest of her answers...

Melo got a JJC point for the MKTBNL, Uncle Beast reference....

Pea got 2 JJC points for pretty much the same reasons as Fanny...

Clem was going to get a shitload JJC points, but his point whore was really coming on to me, and all of a sudden all the blood rushed out of my head. When I came to, I had forgotten how many I was going to give him, so I just gave him 3. Sorry dude.

KT and TBone each got a JJC point for the combined effort of their humor answers...

I can't believe you passed up an opportunity to educate the world about the greatness that is Oran "Juice" Jones and his masterwork, "The Rain". Alas.
Knowing a great deal is not the same as being smart; intelligence is not information alone but also judgment, the manner in which information is collected and used.

DAMN! I would have too!

See, if you'd have thought of that during your answer, I'd have lavished you in a downpour of JJC points. Instead, I had to give them all to Clem again.....

Dude, I can barely think of the ones in front of my face at any given time! I only thought of that last night when I was loading water into the fridge and had to move the orange juice. I had the Tina Turner one Nelly mentioned (I Can't Stand the Rain) running through my head for two weeks, which probably crowded out the Juice. Sorry.

I'll have to see if I can smash him into a future game. I'll just have to take out another 2000's song I put in for Clem.....
