For you linkophobes, this was part of my completely ignored opinion:

If it is called "Camp Grenada" on an album, doesn't that suffice to make it a valid alternative?

You weren't ignored. You were just the only one who could come up with anything at all that might make Camp Grenada an alternate title. If there would've been more examples like that, I would have likely overruled my decision, but that alone is not enough for me. Maybe the people who compiled that album just made the same mistake in assuming that everyone who answered Camp Grenada did....

According to Wikipedia (insert grain of salt), Sherman recorded three different versions of the song: the original one, called Hello Muddah, Hello Fadduh (A Letter from Camp); a second one with different lyrics, debuted on the Tonight Show and called Hello Mudduh, Hello Fadduh; and a third version in conjunction with the board game I mentioned earlier in the thread, called Camp Grenada, same as the game.

Since they all had different lyrics, and since the first was the only one to chart, I think lb's reasoning is sound. I would still have disagreed with him because of the wording of the rules post, but it ain't me, so who cares? :) Next time he can take a lesson from Cal and others who say "whatever I sez goes." Period, end of story.

This is too funny.

How many points are we talking about?

You truly think this is about points?
