I completel agree.
We tried switching another brand because I could buy it in bulk at Sam's Club, but when the cats peed, it turned to sludge and clogged the automatic cleaner.

Which brand is that? I get the sludge problems at time and it makes me crazy. Lately I've been using various brands of Tidy Scoop, but I never take notes on which kinds do best and I forget.PlacentiaSoccerMom wrote:I completel agree.

Only three of those in my avatar are mine.
Okay, point taken. No more bribing with sex. Just food from now on.

Re: IMHO
That was it! Thank you. I got some Fresh Step on the half price shelf at the supermarket (I think because they're changing their packaging) and was all thrilled with my deal since that is a "premium" type instead of Mecca Special Kitty or the store kind I usually get.PlacentiaSoccerMom wrote:It was Fresh Step that turned to sludge.WheresFanny wrote:Which brand is that? You are right, it was a major sludge maker. Tidy Scoop/Cat has changed all of their packaging and type names now, so it's all confusing. I have been using the clear jugs with the blue crystals in it for multiple cat households. I think it's called "Tidy-lock Technology" or something. But I'm always torn between "immediate odor control" and "long lasting odor control".

Psst. Esto. The nieces are wearing plaid. They are the girls in the dresses with red plaid skirts and white collars/tops. Really. I wouldn't lie to you. Neither would Tocque.
Maybe "plaid" means something different in guy talk than girl talk.

Re: IMHO
We use the Fresh Step clumping version. Never a problem, other than the occasional over-enthusiastic coverup that tosses a turd to the floor. We try to dissuade the boys from using "out of the box" thinking (stinking?), but it doesn't always work.
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.
