Several of these subjects scare me. I'll be surprised if I get farther than the in-seat contestant.

I'm surprised that I've gotten all of these questions correct without using lifelines.

I'm impressed that so many in the audience knew this. I didn't, and my impression is that not many people read Uncle Tom's Cabin these days.

So far so good. "Bugs" scares me. If it's about insects, I'd need a lifeline.
I'm just a game show nerd.

Still, if you have kids (or were a kid), you probably read Peter Rabbit at some time and hence know Flopsy, Mopsy, and Cotton-Tail.

I am an equal-enthusiasm non-watcher of Canadian French and English TV drama, as long as the hockey season is on, at least, but "job" is "le job" usually, can't figure out why it would change. Will look it up.

I suspect you may be giving them too much credit. Just looking at the options, I guessed that it would be Topsy, just because that sounds, by far, like the least bunny-like name. I think much of the audience did the same.

At first I didn't know if this meant in-school security or crossing guards. Maybe both.

"The Mole" gets mentioned in two different stacks on the same day, even though the show bombed.

These aren't The Wonder Years anymore, ear. I think he was talking about real police officers, whose beat is the school. That's what southnyack42 does, too.

I usually suck at kiddie lit and it has been more than 30 years since I read Uncle Tom's Cabin and a good deal longer than that since I read Peter Rabbit. No clue which had been in the cabin but there was no doubt in my mind about which three knew Peter. Not sure what that means about the connections in the swiss cheese of my brain but it made it pretty easy to answer.
