Squirrels are the architects of forests, the planters of trees, nature's own acrobats and show a zest for life that can inspire us. Every day should be National Squirrel Appreciation Day!

Many of these (squirrel) migrations were probably caused by food shortages as well as habitat overcrowding. We solved that for them. We not only reduced their habitat, we reduced the whole species by about 90%. The least we can do now is share a little birdseed with them.

Re: LS Experts
Here's my two cents:
I answered "Camp Grenada" because I thought "Hello Muddah, Hello Fadduh" was a less likely title for the song. I definitely considered both. My opinion is not driven by the goal of getting an extra point. There are plenty of LS songs I don't know, and I'm fine with that.
I would generally be a stickler for not accepting a lyric for a title. This particular song, however, is different. There are many songs with obscure titles, including those including parenthetical phrases, which I know, usually from owning the album. Sometimes, I might know them from seeing them listed on "the charts" or various other lists. I was going to say that no one owns this particular song on an album. I then realized that on this bored, I was sure to draw responses from people who do. I mean in the general public, no one does. It may appear on Dr. Demento compilations, but how many do those sell?
I always thought this song was more like an old folk song, passed on to people through singing, not by being written down anywhere. Since few are exposed to the actual title, I think it's different from most LS songs.
In doing a bit of research for this response I found that at least one children's album calls it "Camp Grenada."

Re: LS Experts
Just a coupla things:
First, I think someone up there has it backwards -- the title of the hit song is Hello Muddah, Hello Fadduh (A Letter from Camp). At least that's what it showed on my copy of "My Son, the Nut" which is now lost to the ages.
It's also not out of the question that TLITF was thinking of the board game that was spun off of the song, which was called "Camp Granada."
And, even though it appears the question has been resolved, I also vote that it's an acceptable answer, especially given the way the rules were phrased. (Yes, I read them!)

I never heard of that Letter From Camp title, if that helps. But I knew it wasn't Hello, Muddah, either.
The game is long enough and has enough opportunities to earn points, you should rule against this one, is my vote.

The official title is "Hello Muddah Hello Fadduh (A Letter From Camp)". This according to The Billboard Hot 100 book by Joel Whitburn.
I won't presume to tell you whether to count TLITF's answer or not. It is your game, it is your call.

I don't remember who but I think someone answered "Up and Down The Boulevard" or something instead of Don't Stop Believin'. If you didn't give him/her credit you probably shouldn't give TLITF (no offense) IMHO.

Re: LS Experts
My thought on this seems at odds with most of what I've read in this thread. I don't care at all whether it is counted or not, but what I can tell you is if I was the LS-Meister, it would get partial points AT BEST. It's simply not the name of the song. It's like answering "Thunder Only Happens When It's Raining" for Fleetwood Mac's "Dreams".SportsFan68 wrote:I think you're right.peacock2121 wrote:Also - to defend lb (like he needs it), he asked for LS experts - I am thinking he was going for people like fish or t-bone - not us.
