I want pumpkin pie

#1 Post by minimetoo26 » Sun Jan 11, 2009 8:02 pm

I couldn't find a thread to hijack with this. Shock.

I just realize I am under my pumpkin pie quota for the season. Wah.

Are there now regulations on what threads can't be hijacked? Or are there only certain threads that can be taken over for pumpkin pie.....?

I'll put it in the Pledge of Allegiance thread, then. They'd LOVE what I have to say on that topic........

(I told my son he didn't have to pledge if he didn't want to. It's not like he's going to go out and overthrow the government or anything, but half his class is from foreign countries and he asked what the deal was. I said to stand respectfully and he was good with me.)

It's always fun to wreck the serious threads. They could probably use some pumpkin pie and Merry Men references.....

I would not be surprised to learn that Charles Whitman recited the Pledge of Allegiance every morning of his life.
We, the HK Brigade, do hereby salute you, Marley, for your steadfast devotion to ontopicosity. Well done, sir!

It's a Socialist deal, anyway.

I'd say it right now for some pumpkin pie, though. Or a can of Libbey's pie mix. Keep the carbs down...

I pledge allegiance to the pie,
and to the windowsill, on which it stands,
One person, not on a diet, under the Great Pumpkin,
with whipped cream and second helpings for all.

I'm switching to sugarless when this is gone. The flavor lasts about 6.3 seconds on the sugary stuff...
