What a great game!
I won $1.
I gave my opponent the Chargers and 10 points. We won by 11.

The sucky Gladiators (from the Jipter League) have six players remaining...all from Pennsylvania (appropriate because I just have a feeling an all-Pennsylvania Super Bowl is imminent):mellytu74 wrote:Joe Flacco, Derrick Mason and David Akers.

I wouldn't hate an all Pennsylvania Super Bowl.

I have mixed feelings on it, as I live in the Philly area.peacock2121 wrote:I wouldn't hate an all Pennsylvania Super Bowl.
If it happened and the Eagles won, their fans would be insufferable forever.
And the Eagles are one of five teams (the others are the Chiefs, Titans, Jaguars, and Lions) the Steelers have never beaten in post-season ('course, the postseason game against the Iggles came all the way back in 1947).

LOL! Apparently the Las Vegas line was six. But IdiotChargersSupporter wouldn't bet unless I gave him 10. He wanted me to go with my original prediction, 50-7 Steelers, but I wouldn't give him 43. I'd probably give a 43-point spread if my life depended on it, that's about what it would take.peacock2121 wrote:That was cutting it a bit close!SportsFan68 wrote:What a great game!

All that for a buck. Made it more fun though.

Sting has been concerned that I have been making large bets on the games this year. He could not grasp how I could get so upset or so excited if I didn't have big bucks on a game.SportsFan68 wrote:LOL! Apparently the Las Vegas line was six. I kept telling him it was just bragging rights for the Pigskin pool (after I lost my Suicide Pool picks).

Mine is a league that still plays through to the Super Bowl, but you can only use players who were on your regular season roster, and all rosters freeze as of the Thanksgiving game.Jeemie wrote:The sucky Gladiators (from the Jipter League) have six players remaining...all from Pennsylvania (appropriate because I just have a feeling an all-Pennsylvania Super Bowl is imminent):mellytu74 wrote:Joe Flacco, Derrick Mason and David Akers.

Dallas not making it pretty much killed us, but I thought there was still a shot with three Titans and Deangelo Williams. Ha!
Also, my reverse mojo worked and the Steelers prevailed! If all Steelers fans would like to send $10 to the Reverse Mojo Fund, feel free. Of course, if I manage to reverse mojo them into becoming Super Bowl Champions, extra generosity would certainly not be declined.
