I thought you would give me negative points for being gross.

Anyway, thanks for doing this, lb. I've done a few trivia quizzes on the Jeopardy board, so I know it takes a lot of work.

Sorry. Since you responded first, and you actually included Three Dog Night, I wound up skimming right over Hoyt (Just like I missed TiV being the first to invoke JJ Cale last year on Cocaine because he mentioned Clapton first, THEN Fanny answered with only Cale)

The JJC point will be added...

You Hoyt-skimmed on mine, too.

I already hate Hoyt Axton....

And one bad thing about the spoilers is it's such a pain in the ass to go back and click over them a second time.....

lb13
Don't hate on Hoyt, it's not his fault! Just simplify it by only giving a JJC Point if that's the only person they answered, no covering the bases. Be bold, people!

For the theme points, I just said Holidays and whatnot, but the whatnot obviously meant 'by month'. Ha! Since my made up songs were for holidays in the proper month and I wondered what holiday was in August, is that sufficient to demonstrate that I got the theme, or did it have to be spelled out in my theme answer?

I normally don't ask about getting more points but, if everybody else is going to, I might as well give it a shot. Oh, we're halfway there!

Why the hell not?

Free points for everyone!!!!!!!!!

But seriously, I see what you're saying now. I do try to determine if the player actually knew the theme I was looking for even if they didn't state it exactly as I had wanted. I gave Panic the theme points based on that assumption, and it looks like you should have gotten them too.....

YAY! I always read the answers, but I don't generally pay attention to the points, so I didn't even realize that I didn't get the theme points. Until people were questioning points and I was looking back at answers.

Oh, and just as a general tip to everybody based on my own experience, it doesn't really matter which type spoiler you use but, if you just use one spoiler for the whole post instead of spoiling each answer individually, it's makes it SO much easier for the person scoring. Plus it's less work to just spoil your whole post once you're done instead of doing it on every line.

If lb disagrees with me on this and says I should just mind my own because I'm not the one doing the scoring, please disregard. His comment about it being a pain in the ass just brought that to mind and I remembered how much longer it would take me to go through those kind of answer post on my games.

LB does not disagree with you on this. I thought about including a note on this in the Rules (Like anyone actually reads them anyway!) about not using spoilers individually, but decided against it in case that was some people's "thing" and I didn't want someone not to play because I wouldn't let them do their thing.....

OK OK OK point taken...I'm still a newbie here...trying to figure all this new stuff out
Ignorance is a curable, temporary condition. Stupidity is permanent, and often terminal.
