No, not really - although I didn't think the manager would notice. I was with a big group (25-30 people) in a private party room. It was a meeting of a bunch of people who logged onto a particular BBS (Bulletin Board System); most of us had never met face-to-face and someone suggested we organize a gathering. The particular pizza place that was selected was not one of my favorites, so I stopped at a different place and bought a pizza. I didn't carry it into the meeting place in the box, because I didn't want to draw attention. But the meeting got a little rowdy and the manager came in to "check on us", saw the pizza and knew it wasn't from his restaurant.

I'm with the pizza joint on this one, Ear.

Oh they were in the right, no doubt about it. I just wanted to post something to let people I'm wasn't always the buttoned-down wallflower that I am today.

Buttoned-down, but in a tutu. We all know about your antics! :P

(And the pizza thing is a health department regulation restricting outside food and drink brought into establishments. At least around here.)

Well, that and the fact that it was a competitor's pizza. I don't think the manager would have been quite as incensed had I brought in a bag of burgers from Mickey D's.
