At least it isn't a penguin....

The roads were worse today than during any of the other 987 freezing rain/drizzle/sleet storms we've had so far this season. It's a wonder I was able to make it home at all this morning....

I suppose. I was talking to a neighbor at the bus stop this morning, and they came here from Cleveland two years ago. I mentioned remembering two good snowstorms from when I was a kid and maybe 6 or 7 total in my life, plus an ice storm. This is in almost 43 years.

Not much notable frozen stuff here. But I see water on my sunroom walls and I hope it's just caulking around the skylights or a few ridge caps that need replacing and not a whole new roof......

Just rain here but it's 30 and will freeze soon. I was going to go to Philly to play Quizo but will have to settle for NTN across the road at Houlighan's.

It should be slip and slide tomorrow morning. :(

Someone has been a bad influence on that sweet woman. I'm not sure whether I should hope I'm not the guilty one, or that I am.

It was from PennState.

I went from the island of Kaua'i to Penn State and attended every home game in both undergraduate and graduate school.

One game had every precipitation ever known. Can't remember which team but we came up with the concept of rainsnowsleetshit.

And believe me, I've been known to swear.

I think some may have occured on Jan. 1st.

which I used the exact word Christie used in this thread, anything could happen.

The carp should come back again this afternoon, but the temperature spiked 10 degrees above the forecast, so it's close to 70! WTF?

I'll take the warm, but the rain is gonna cause mold issues with the heat.

Is that the game where if you drive over someone, they turn into a tombstone?

The temperature's crept up to 34 now, but we're supposed to get mixed precipitation for the rest of the day.

The roads weren't bad this morning, but my walkway and parking area at home were a challenge!

No, it's Pole Position with a Ferrari and much cooler stages....

I could get to all 5 goals in one night on the very limited quarters I got when I was a youngin'.....
