Re: When did Ann Coulter
I don't know, but it's nice to see that Fox recognizes brilliance and genius when they see it. Now I wish I had watched the game. I swore off watching anything BCS-related until they scrap it and get a real playoff system...

Re: When did Ann Coulter
Everyone -- ToLive is making a joke. Ann Coulter really was not a sideline reporter at the Fiesta Bowl.
It was Laura Okmin.
I guess, in ToLIve's mind, she looks a bit like Ann Coulter. (Although, Coulter appears to be much much, much taller.)
Note: Okmin is a Jayhawk!

Thanks. You have it right. Bad joke. Though I'd imagine if more of you were watching the game at the same time as you read my post, it would have been clearer. Apologies.Appa23 wrote:Everyone -- ToLive is making a joke. Ann Coulter really was not a sideline reporter at the Fiesta Bowl.

I didn't watch the game and was surprised to read of her being there in that capacity. I did a Google search and found quite a few bloggers who thought that really was her.

Really? I found a few posts on college football boards that made the same joke as ToLive.Estonut wrote:I didn't watch the game and was surprised to read of her being there in that capacity. I did a Google search and found quite a few bloggers who thought that really was her.
However, even if you do not follow football or sports, I would think that the non-straight hair would immediately be the clue that the sideline reporter was not Coulter.

Re: When did Ann Coulter
OK, I'm busted. I Googled "Ann Coulter Fox sideline reporter" and got nearly 24k hits. I read the first one or two and found out it was really Laura Okmin. By scanning only the previews on the first 2 or 3 pages, it appeared that some had really fallen for it. I can't say for sure, as I didn't care enough to do the due diligence and drill down into each article and actually read them. I feel so Juchish.Appa23 wrote:Really? I wouldn't say busted, as it would not surprise me if some casual viewer actually thought that it was Coulter (it was broadcast on Fox, after all.) Plus, who doesn't have a blog nowadays.Estonut wrote:OK, I'm busted. I Googled "Ann Coulter Fox sideline reporter" and got nearly 24k hits. I did nearly an identical search, as I did not see the entire Fiesta Bowl, on the off chance that Fox actually did have Coulter at the game.

Now Nelly, that's demeaning to succubuses,..... er, succubi,....er, succubae?.....oh heck, Lady Demons!!!NellyLunatic1980 wrote:She... he... umm, the succubus has been a de facto FOX reporter for the last 10 years.
And Drusilla (and Pib!) are in a tough enough spot right now as it is (scroll back a few days -- or more! -- to get the gist of the story!) Of course, being compared to Ann Coulter may just piss Dru off enough to break her chains and turn the tables on Tom

And where the H-E-Double-Hockey-Sticks are Geoff and Luciano????????????????????????!!!
ETA: if you click on the Pibgorn link, check out the comments section too -- and you thought this bored was crazy????
